This is about community mediation initiated by the Asia Foundation in order to create and strengthen technical capacities of mediation trainers and mediators themselves. A Community Mediation Board has been set up with the Ministry of Justice supported by Asia Foundation and this service has now being extended to the North and East as well. The Mediation Board was set up as an alternative to settle disputes, provide timely and accessible justice to communities across the country.
