The Christian Children’s Fund (CCF) is a non-profit international NGO, whose mission is to ‘create an environment of hope and respect for needy children of all cultures and beliefs in which they have opportunities to achieve their full potentials, and provide practical tools for change - to children, families and communities.’ This report presents CCF’s strategy for building a brighter future for children in Sri Lanka, using their Bright Futures Approach. This method focuses on child development through partnership building with the community and other development partners in an effort to reduce children’s deprivation, exclusion and vulnerability arising from poverty. Their program is directed towards the holistic development of children, empowering and increasing capacity building of parents and families and finally mobilising communities towards child wellbeing.
