This module tries to investigate the chain of effects in trauma healing from the individual to the collective level, to present the contribution of (Development Cooperation) DC to trauma healing and to provide DC practitioners with a guideline for the implementation of trauma-healing measures. It outlines the meaning of traumatisation, the term’s conceptual modifications, emphasises on the specific political aspect of trauma healing work and possible areas of interventions. It also deals with the framework for trauma healing work.
