This document is a summary of the country report on China and is part of a series of REP-PoR’s Asia Pacific publications. It draws on the key findings of the Country Report, summarizes the challenges faced at national level, and provides priority recommendations. Specifically, critical issues related to energy policy, including institutional structures, regulatory frameworks, priority programmes, financing measures, gender concerns, as well as monitoring and evaluation support are highlighted. It offers a way forward, outlining issues and options for the country.
