This study has been done to identify the gender roles and the support networks of spouses of migrant workers in Sri Lanka. This research talks about the resources and the strategies of migrant worker families, differences of resources between the spouses of male and female migrant workers, the changes of the migrants’ family dynamics and many more areas in relation to gender and migration. The study mainly focuses on how the male and female migrants impact the family dynamics and the differences among them which is important to Sri Lanka.
