This secondary data review was carried out in order to develop an information base that would help focus the Plantation Sector Household Livelihood Security Assessment (HLSA) and aid in the analysis of the findings. The review was conducted based on information needs identified by the HLSA Core Planning Team, which included areas of basic human need, such as nutrition, health, water and sanitation, education, food, income, shelter, human rights, attitudes, knowledge, provision of services, infrastructure and facilities.
