This review looks into the relationship between learning achievements and household economic status, and nutrition variables. Nutritional variables include food consumption, feeding habits and availability and consumption of clean drinking water and safe sanitation facilities. The study looks at the nutritional disorders with a public health significance as well as other nutritional factors. Thus, this review explores existing literature in order to contribute towards better understanding of the objective of the intended study. The study also assesses how far the existing literature is able to identify the links between learning abilities and nutritional variables and household economic factors. The concluding section in this study discusses the extent to which existing literature has succeeded in linking the variables and also identifies the gaps in the existing literature, which may contribute to a better understanding of the main focus.
