Part one of the book deals with a detailed introduction to sociology including methodology and perspectives. Part two of the book talks about human behaviour, cultures, interaction and different forms of engagements with society. Part three is about social organization, expanding into society in terms of groups and networks, formal organisations, family and religion. Government and its functioning is also included, giving the perspective of political institutions. Other areas included are social differentiation, human population and social dynamics.
