This publication discusses the implementation of the Community Based Monitoring Systems (CBMS) in the Philippines, which, has been a joint undertaking of the PEP-CBMS Network Coordinating team with several related organizations. It outlines the reasons CBMS was developed, along with the designs, pilot tests and methodology. In addition, it also covers the framework concerning CBMS, along with the details of the implementation in the Philippines and related countries including South Asian and Far Eastern countries.
