The purpose of this book is to create a functional relationship between development and research. The author emphasises the importance of research for development which can be effective in implementing the interventions and help in addressing challenges. He believes that the most difficult task is to change the view of policy-makers since they do not realise the need of research in development. This paper is based on studies undertaken during a three year period to make a difference in research and development and to understand and be aware of the importance of research studies.
