This book contains the information of the connection between rural development and social capital in the Northern Province of Sri Lanka. Based on a research in six rural war affected villages, this book shows how the bonding and linking of social capital causes development. This research includes interviews, collection of official records and observations providig a mass knowledge of the above subject. The study explains the importance of social capital, the political and economic environment in peoples’ daily lives to achieve development.
