This publication provides information of overall expenditure on HIV in the country between 2009-2011. This research was conducted to track na tional expenditure and financial flows to monitor and plan resources for tackling HIV. Few important facts from the publication: • Total HIV/AIDS expenditure in SL during 2009-2010 is Rs. 518 and 534 million, equivalent to USD 4.5 and 4.7 million respectively. • Central government is the largest financial sources, contributing 46% in 2009, and 48% in 2010. • Highest level of HIV/AIDS spending was in the Western Province with Rs. 166.1 million in 2009 and 207.5 million in 2010.
