This study draws from a wide range of qualitative and quantitative data available on the problems connected to multidimensional child poverty in Sri Lanka. After assessing the literature available from research institutions and government departments, the authors have outlined some of the most pressing issues that are encountered by the deprived and vulnerable children in Sri Lanka. The study can be used as a reference tool for statistical information and will be relevant to those working with children in similar conditions. Moreover, owing to the many research gaps that were identified, the hope is that this will be an attraction for more interest, and pave the way for further collaboration on the collation of research which will supplement the findings presented here.
