This book is an advocacy tool. It was conceptualized and produced to the cause of preventing domestic violence in Sri Lanka. The book contains hundreds of stories of victims of domestic violence, who have survived to tell their stories to the world. These are first hand experiences of real stories of real women. In Sri Lanka statistical data and information show a high prevalence of domestic violence and that the majority of these victims are women. This book contains systematically documented primary information gathered from victim survivors of domestic violence.
