This series of documents presents a detailed breakdown of the resources in various DS divisions in the Badulla District. This compilation of data is a bottom up approach to the planning and administration processes, given the need for information on the existing resources, barriers to development etc. of individual DS divisions in these processes. The profile includes sections on the geographical location, demographic information, agriculture, industries, roads and transportation, electricity, postal services, health facilities, education, water supply and irrigation. It also includes sections on the state investment in the area, information on the NGOs and Trade Organisations operating in the area and environmental information. This particular issue deals with the Passara DS Division.
