The ‘Good Practices in Children and Young People’s Participation in South Asia’ is a regional study commenced by UNICEF. Its objective is to analyze and identify good practices and specific lessons learnt from strategic interventions which have proved effective in promoting children and young people’s participation. This is carried out to improve policies and programming to promote participation rights of children and young people. This report presents a case study of a child-focused initiative implemented by Plan International, an international NGO operating in Sri Lanka.
