The Asian Development Bank was contracted to provide technical assistance to the Government of Sri Lanka to formulate a strategy for the Energy Sector’s Master Plan to develop a sustainable energy sector for the country. The final report is structured in three volumes. Volume I specifically outline the key elements of the proposed energy strategy and summarises some of the important findings drawn from the conclusion of the analysis on the Sri Lankan energy sector.
