This toolkit for dissemination, advocacy and analysis developed by the Consortium of Humanitarian Agencies in Colombo, was launched with the aim of adopting a set of universal standards in core areas of humanitarian protection and assistance for internally displaced persons in Sri Lanka.
Supported by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and the Brookings Institution Project on Internal Displacement, the Guiding Principles provides an ideal structure to be used by representatives of the internally displaced, government officials, international organisations and NGO’s on the sensitive and complex issues affecting them.
