This report has a clear answer to the question: Is it worthwhile continuing support for the Poverty Reduction Strategy (PRS)? It also gives out one main message: In order to achieve Millennium Development Goals, there is no viable alternative to the PRS strategy. Within the framework of German Development Cooperation, with a particular perspective of technical cooperation, a wealth of experience has been gained in the recent years through the support provided by PRS processes in 26 countries around the globe. This knowledge and experience forms the basis of this report.
