The Asia Development Bank (ADB) has been contributing significantly to the economic and social development of its developing member countries since its founding in 1966. Since its initiation, the Asia and pacific region has achieved unprecedented economic and social development. The vision of ADB is an Asia and Pacific region free of poverty. ADB’s mission, therefore, is to help reduce poverty and improve living conditions and quality of life in developing member countries. This publication documents the ADB’s long-term strategic framework for 2001 – 2015.
