This report discusses the crisis of child trafficking, particularly in the context of Sri Lanka. It explores the factors that contribute to this crisis and the role that the International Labour Organisation (ILO)/International Programme on the Elimination of Child Labour (IPEC) and the National Child Protection Authority (NCPA) play in combatting the trafficking of children. Furthermore, the report discusses projects and action plans that are funded by the TICSA and various ways in which children can be rehabilitated. Re-integrating these children into society is vital and this report looks at the ways in which this can be made possible. It contains a final draft of a public policy and a national plan of action that extensively deals with all aspects of this widespread crisis.
