The Sri Lanka Economic Research conference held in 29th-30th November 2012 published the above conference proceedings containing 53 extended abstracts discussed under the theme ‘the global economic outlook and changes to developing countries’. The main areas of this issue include economic thought/ideology, equity and distributional issues, efficiency and productivity issues, stability and growth concerns and development policy. Sectoral development covering infrastructure, health, education, agriculture, industry and so and so forth are also discussed in this.
