The journal is a compilation of contributions by eminent scholars in different universities of Sri Lanka and other well-known advocates of sociology. Major topics covered in the journal include economic growth and income distribution and the measures taken towards equitable distributions of income in Sri Lanka, in order to benefit all regions of the country. Another topic discussed is the rise of the youth and the importance of improving the university systems in order to overcome the problems faced. The rising aspirations of the youth in a post-conflict era are of great significance as human capital needs to be nurtured to meet development goals.
